Mindfulness and gentle Yoga Retreat, Noddfa, North Wales , November 8th- 10th, 2019
'Dipping into Winter'
This weekend retreat at Noddfa, North Wales, includes mindfulness practices and gentle yoga.
Beginners and regular practitioners of mindfulness and yoga are welcome. Both mindfulness and yoga allow us to become more aware of our physical body and emotions, while cultivating attitudes that nurture our growth, and to connect with the environment we find ourselves in. The nature that encompasses Noddfa, allows us to develop a deeper appreciation of the natural environment and its rhythm. Winter is a time for nature to let go of the old and make way for the new, and so the ‘theme’ of this retreat will align with this.
You will be made welcome on this retreat whether you come on your own or with a friend or partner. It is intended that you will feel rested, more relaxed and have an increased feeling of well-being by the end of the weekend.
This retreat includes accommodation, and full board, in addition to the yoga and mindfulness activities. The venue, Noddfa is a special place in North Wales.
(from Noddfa's website)
'Noddfa is a Welsh word meaning refuge, a place of welcome and peace, a place where you can regain energy. We hope that all the groups who come here will experience this in the comfort of the house and the beauty of the surrounding hills and the sea. It is also the name of our centre, run by the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Mary.
We are located on the North Wales coast in a village called Penmaenmawr, which sits in the foothills of the wonderful Snowdonia National Park and Snowdon itself. You can take walks in the hills behind us to clear your head or take a stroll on the beach, just a ten-minute walk away and enjoy the sounds of the sea and the wind while clearing your mind and relaxing'.
