Overnight Mindfulness & Gentle Yoga Retreat at Glenthorne's Quaker House, Grasmere, August 8th- 9th, 2020
Come together at Glenthorne’s Quaker Guest House for a restful mindfulness and gentle yoga retreat. During this difficult time of the virus outbreak, there has likely never been such a need for self- care and sharing space with like- minded people. I hope you can join me on this get together and I hope you will feel nourished, rested and refreshed. A retreat like this is a good space for healing and self-reflection while supported and held in a safe space.
Mindfulness and yoga can help us move through these difficult times.
Arrival can be from 2pm on August 8th, giving you time to settle in and enjoy the setting.
We will meet up at 5pm for some gentle relaxation followed by an evening meal at 7 pm.
On Sunday, begin the day with a gentle hatha Yoga class before a full breakfast.
From 10am we will have mindfulness and gentle yoga activities, (indoor and outdoor) such as Yoga Nidra (also known as Yogic sleep). A packed lunch is also provided. You will be asked about your dietary requirements before the event. Glenthorne’s are very good at accommodating various diets.
If you would like to stay over on the Sunday evening, you are welcome to book this with Glenthorne’s. Be sure to let them know you are booked on this event, as you would not need to book Sunday lunch and would just ask for bed and breakfast.
The full cost of the weekend is £200 and includes all the above and a private en-suite room. There are also 2 rooms available that have a shared bathroom and the full cost for these would be £190.
